Yoga4Health and Yoga4NHS qualification
To say that I am chuffed is an understatement. I have been wanting to do since I embarked on Yoga teacher training. Bringing yoga into the healthcare system is what it’s all about! What’s more this is solid gold backed up by science. Anyone interested please ask me about the Westminster University evaluation .
In November 2022 I received my final certificate and I am now a 60-hour PCI accredited Yoga4Health teacher certified to teach the 10-week Yoga4Health protocol to NHS patients.
In October 2023 I completed a 10 hour Yoga4NHS tutor upgrade that enables me to deliver the 6-week Yoga4NHS protocol accredited by the Royal College of GPs to all NHS practioners.

Why Yoga4Health classes benefit service users?

The Yoga4Health programme has been shown to be highly effective at raising patient activation and helping patients to make sustainable lifestyle change through a daily yoga practice. This is an early intervention/prevention programme for patients who need support to change to more health habits because they are:

At risk of cardio-vascular disease
At risk of Type 2 diabetes
Suffering from stress or mild-moderate anxiety/depression
Suffering from social isolation
